Chapter 1: Flayd In Love?
This is Flayd in the ship. What happened when he happens to be not paying attention to what's going on? Well here it is. The almighty Crimson Balrogs ambushed the ship. The once-was-highest-level-creatures attacked in pairs, thus, leaving me in the dust to take another flight back to Ellinia. This evidence was captured that Flayd was caused in a serious injury, thus losing some of his experience in his magical combats.
However, today seemed to be some sort of a different day. Probably one in which happened to be one of the best to him. So it's just another normal day for him, leaving him to kill many countless Jr. Grupins at his level 37 self. Finally, after a long hard work of training, his level increased to 38, but not only that, but with the help of his upgraded equipment and abilities, his strength just happens to skyrocket. He meets a fellow companion before, in need of some help to hunt down some Jr. Pepes to get their fish, in which consisted of a total of 300. Flayd saw that the ally was slightly weaker, and from what it had looked, that person had underestimated Flayd's abilities, so he proved him wrong by killing and collecting most of the fish for him. After that, Flayd went back to his usual training.
Later on in the day, Flayd had gotten a message from someone. A trader in which was located from BasilMarket! Flayd seemed to be happy, and went to arrange to meet this person. Miraculously, they were precisely in the same area. He had found a gorgeous figure nearby. Accidentally stumbling and falling into a pit of Star Pixies, he goes back and arranges the trade for a nice piece of armor for her, making him slightly wealthier. Still staring at the great warrior, he also found her quite amusing and entertaining. Flayd decided to be friends with her. The woman's name in which is known as Infieri. Her companion "talking cat-in-the-hat", known as Sendo.
Later on, they go their separate ways, having Flayd doing his own trades again with other people. Finally, it was time to start another training session. He decides to go to the place of massive Jr. Grupins. Who does he see? The same figure, the gorgeous woman, Infieri. He was stunned to see her, nonetheless happy as well. However, she wasn't there for some reason, almost as if she had been petrified. Suddenly she was in her normal state after she had "logged off and back on again". She apologizes for the little disconnection perhaps, but Flayd, of course, didn't mind at all. They decide to work as a team defeating the massive Jr. Grupins. Though Infieri seemed to be much more experienced in combat, it would seem that they both were equally matched in their great strength.
Eventually, Flayd still has more arrangements to make. Apologizing to Infieri, he ventures his way again to the cold chili town of El Nath. Destroying the Leatties and Jr. Pepes in his way, he gets there in a snap. After his trade has been made, another message had been delivered from Infieri, saying for her friends to go to the sky town of Orbis, in a great meeting in forming their own guild. Flayd seemed excited, interested, and very nice about this idea of having a guild. He marches his way back again as quickly as possible, meeting Infieri along with her great fellow friends, consisted in many different classes. It had taken a while for the full party to finally form together, but in the interum, he had discovered something about the Golden Egg he had found while training. Infieri had told Flayd that if he gave it to the Mad Bunny which sat on top of a stone pillar around Orbis, a mysterious award would be granted to him. He had wondered what kind of award would strike him, but he thought "What do I have to lose?"
He makes his way toward the Mad Bunny, and asked what the golden egg did. To the Mad Bunny, it would have seemed to him a great valuable resource. However, Flayd felt like he had gotten a ridiculous reward. The Mad Bunny had granded him some power to his combat, but he hadn't felt and bit stronger (For those who want to know, 100 EXP or 0.05% x.x). He had felt ashamed, but regained his smile once again after the whole guild was created. This guild created by Infieri, known as "Guild Liminality".
Afterwards, Guild Liminality decided to do an activity together. With one of the suggestions said by a member in their high 50's in level, they decide to venture in a place far more dangerous in what they can handle. They meet these creatures; Far from what they've known, they had encountered these creatures that look like Kitties, only demons from hell. Flayd steps into the pit, seeing how injured he would get with his trustworthy fairy taking the pain for him using his own spiritual energy. From what he had felt, these creatures had painfully struck him. Not only did Flayd take the pain, but Infieri had taken much pain as well. Injuries so bad forced her to be transported to Orbis immediately to recover her wounds.
Once the members had returned to Orbis, they decided to take their own paths. Mostly, all the members except Flayd had gone to train at Jr. Yetis. For him, he decided to go back to his usual killings of the Jr. Grupins. Stunned by some of the words and activities in which one of the members did, also known as the nickname "Para", Flayd had decided to call him "the rapist" (I don't even know the story, but I can imagine it's very long XD). After a while, it seemed that Infieri was heading back to Victoria Island.
Flayd checked his questbook in the number of jobs he had to do. He had completed everything in the toy land of Ludibrium, the sky heavens of Orbis, and the shivering breezes of El Nath, he decided to head back to Victoria Island to accompany Infieri.
It was almost time for the ship to depart. Only a few minutes left. Flayd had gone in the ship first along with another huge group of people. He realized something was missing. More importantly, a someone. Infieri hadn't made it on that ship. Making his sacrifice, he abandoned the ship in which was about to board, going to purchase the same ticket as Infieri had in her hand. She had been shocked in what Flayd had done, but with no time to waste, they rush to the ship which left for Victoria Island. At the very last minute, they had made it on the ship, ready to go back to their own home.
A few minutes in the airship, Flayd decided to go down to the bottom deck. Infieri decided to go along with Flayd to join the fun. They seemed to enjoy the ride together as they sat close next to each other. However, a terrible fate had disturbed their little peaceful ride...
Once again, the same as before in what Flayd had seen in his previous adventures during the ride back to Ellinia. The Crimson Balrogs have attacked once again. Flayd and Infieri do their best to get inside for shelter as best as possible. Apparently Infieri was a little too late in that. Before she had gotten inside, the giant demon slashed at her, greatly wounding her. Flayd checked her conditions to see if everything was okay. She was despiratley injured, but still had enough energy to remain conscious. Flayd decided to take a risk himself and decided to check out the devils. As he got on the ladder, he summoned his fairy to call upon his aid.
"Here goes nothing..." Flayd said with a sigh. Infieri tried her best to deter Flayd from going out there, but he refused otherwise. He peeked his head out, everything find and in good shape. His body was more exposed as he rised his body from below. Suddenly, a Crimson Balrog came swishing down from the skies, slashing Flayd with all its might. The fairy did it's best to endure the pain, but it was almost too much, as well as for Flayd. He quickly went back down for shelter, injured deeply and collapsed on the floor. (For your information, Crimson Balrogs do 2,000 DAMAGE!!! I just miraculously survive thanks to Magic Guard x.x)
A few minutes passed by, and the ride was finally over, the Crimson Balrogs returning to their home, waiting for another time to ambush a defenseless ship. Flayd checked Infieri's wounds once more, seeming like they're healing slightly. He sighed in relief. Finally, they gave one last good-bye for now, seeming who knew when they would see each other again. But they certainly know a great smile.
Flayd decided to go to Kerning City. A kid requested a job for him, so he might as well keep himself busy. He went in the subway, killing the Stirges in his way, eventually enough to complete his assignment. The kid, Icanus, had requested another job for him. This time, collecting the items in which the Ligators and. Jr. Wraiths contain. Eventually, he meets those prerequisites and collects his reward. He decided to take another chance at some of the golems at Victoria. It would seem he has had a minor success in killing them, but he feels he needs some more improvement in them. Collecting a few of it's large stones and rubble, he decided to go back to where he enjoys most, in which would be Orbis.
He had felt bad to leave Infieri behind, but she had other busniess to attend to before she was able to make another trip back to Orbis. Flayd looked deep into the woods, hoping Infieri would be alright, then he decided to make a run for it, rushing and teleporting to the Ellinia Station to Ossyria. He makes it in time to meet many people. Some were actually looking around for the Crimson Balrogs, hoping that they could find it, perhaps even kill the beast. However, they refused to attack the ship, thus leaving Flayd in a great sigh of relief.
Finally, Flayd was in Orbis, still wondering what errands Infieri had to do in Victoria Island. He tried not to worry about it too much, and decided to head on with training. Many hours passed by as he was killing the Jr. Grupins, perhaps getting injured too much with the unconcentrated power of himself, still wondering. Finally, it was time, seeing he had a locator bonded with his friends, she had arrived in Orbis just now. He began to become excited and headed for the station as fast as he could to meet her. Not only Infieri, but her friend as well, also a guild member. His name, identified as Aeltrius. Although he was unfamiliar with the name, he still thought he was quite pleasant with his cat, Teki-sa.
Seemed that Flayd had missed then, and Infieri and Aeltrius were enjoying their time there in the Ticket Booth, so he decided to accompany them in their entertainment and grand kindness.
Seeming the Ticketing Usher didn't mind, Flayd decided to go into that department, being an employee. Infieri, however, acted tough, seeming she was like a criminal. Or perhaps in what Flayd saw, the "talking cat-in-the-hat" was the criminal.
After a nice time cruising around the area, Flayd and Infieri decided to try to find a nice training spot of Jr. Grupins. Finally, they find a spot, only to find out later that some people try to perform some piracy in stealing the land themselves.
"Change channels please!" Flayd and Infieri exclaimed. One person seemed to be looking for some throwing stars dropped by the Jr. Grupin. The set, "Wolbi". Flayd offered to sell the piece for a well three-hundred-fifty-thousand mesos at least, but he denied, and at last, the two were able to continue with their training. Flayd had trained so much, the gravity of his skill forced him to become even more powerful than before! (Level 39!!! ) Infieri was there to watch that entertainment as well.
At last, it was getting late. Flayd decided to go to Orbis and hit the hay, especially Infieri who was a little tired and exhausted of training all day. At the end, Flayd wrapped his arms around Infieri, and seeming shocked, she hugged him back. With one last smile, they say their farewells for the day, along with Sendo, her cat. Astonished by the great days in the sky heavens of Orbis, a magnificant day with a new great friend, he seemed like he had the best day ever thus far.

Chapter 2: The Guardians of Ludibrium (Author notes: Unlike the last chapter, this chapter's basically full of dialogue and such, so hopefully this will be a little more entertaining, although less action throughout the whole chapter (mainly none, and my apologies, but that comes next chapter!). So while the other chapter is being released, enjoy this one!)
Many months passed by ever since Flayd first met his love in which he knew he was going to fall in love with, Infieri. In such time of loving and training, Infieri and Flayd both grew to become strong together. They loved each other, becoming happy every moment they saw each other. At times, Infieri gets mad at Flayd, only because of the result of overexerting training from Flayd. Infieri thinks that Flayd is training TOO hard perhaps. They even had a nice house to live in together. Although eccentric because it was made of building blocks, they were still happy with what they had.
One day at the Ludibrium library, Flayd saw some interesting books in stock. "Guardians of Ludibrium". It was an old ancient book, the cover carved in slightly in the shape of two mysterious creatures. He had hundreds of thousands of Mesos to spend, up to even a million. He decided to buy a copy.
Flayd went up to the desk of the librarian to purchase the book. Perhaps he was wanting to actually KEEP the book. However, when Flayd went up to the person, there was a slight concerned look on her face.
"A... are you sure you want to take that home...?" she asked nervously. Flayd nodded.
"Yes, but is there something wrong?" Flayd asked with slight doubt in him.
"It's just... that book is cursed..." Although the librarian was upset and worried, Flayd laughed. The librarian got angry. "Do you DARE to disbelieve the curse of the book!?" she exclaimed.
"I'm sorry." Flayd apologized, still laughing a little. "I'm just not necessarily the stereotypical one."
The librarian sighed. "Do what you want, boy. But I swear, you WILL regret this one day!" She pointed her finger toward the door in a swift movement. "Just... just take the book and go!"
Flayd was stunned at her reaction. "Umm... don't you want..."
"I said GO!!!" Anger erupted from her head as the librarian literally chased Flayd outside. "Don't you dare come back either!"
Running as fast as he can, teleporting from many different locations, Flayd finally arrived home, panting, and nearly collapsing on the ground like he did with the battle of the Balrogs. "Sheesh... what's up with that lady?"
"Is something wrong, Flayd?" Infieri asked, sharpening her machete.
"Well I don't know if it's me or her, but I think it's her that's the problem." Flayd sighed. "That librarian was acting like you!"
Infieri was silent, also giving Flayd an ugly glare. "Just what is that supposed to mean?" she said grumpily.
"Nevermind..." Flayd sighed again.
"What book is that anyway?"
"It's some interesting book that I thought I'd enjoy." Infieri came up to the book and looked at the title and carving. "I might as well start reading it now!" Flayd jumped on the bed with excitement and popped open the book. Day by day, Flayd looked at the book, glancing at the written information and pictures of the ancient creatures. From long ago, he saw a familiar picture. Some sort of circus ghost was one one page, the other page with written information. Flayd had seen this creature, known as Buffy. He had a theory in mind.
"Could they possibly still exist...?" He wondered. Flayd glances at the end of the book, where two legendary creatures were written in pages. Their names, 'Gate Keeper' and 'Tanathos'. The more Flayd researched, the more he was interested. "It says here that the Gate Keeper and Tanathos are the creators of Ludibrium. Not only that, but they are also guardians of some celestial sanctuary." In a little picture of both creatures was written in small text "Those who interfere shall perish." Flayd repeated those same words in a whisper.
"Say what?" Infieri asked, looking at the book as well. She, as well, repeated those words. "Well seeming like you, you won't go to see them if they exist, right?" she asked with an innocent smile. With Flayd's mind still on the book, staring at the picture, he let out a small chuckle and smiles as well. With the sound of that, Infieri's smile had faded in an instant. "Don't you even THINK about going down there! Sure you may be quite strong, but even I'M most certainly am more experienced than you! Do you REALLY think you'll make it out there alive!?"
Flayd nearly jumped up at Infieri's screaming, his eyes widened. She continued to ramble on. "Hang on!" Flayd interupted. "It does sound like a risky adventure, but exciting as well, wouldn't you agree?"
Infieri glared angrily at Flayd once again. "If you want to get killed easily, then sure!!! It'll DEFINATELY be a great adventure!" she said sarcastically.
Another person crashed into the house, more of a woman. Being a different class from Flayd and Infieri, an assassin came in to give a greeting. "Hello there."
"Hey, Soapeh." the two said in a unison. Flayd gave off a small smile, Infieri still staring at the book with an upset face. Soapeh was one of the most recent members of their guild in which they belonged in, known as Liminality.
"What's up with the long face, Infi? And what's this thing about 'getting killed easily'?" Saopeh asked.
"Flayd's wanting to go on an 'adventure' as he likes to call it." Again, Infieri gave off a strict look on her face to Flayd who seemed to be laughing nervously.
Soapeh approached the book and glanced at it. "So that's your target, eh?" she laughed. "Being me, I had no worries going there." Flayd and Infieri were stunned.
"How did you manage to get out alive?" Flayd asked, bewildered.
Soapeh looked at Flayd, slightly confused and disappointed as well. "Do you NOT know the basics of the thiefs?"
Flayd rose his arms, his Red Starlight overall clothing following its train. "Does it look like I know?" There was a small pause. "Seem me, I'm just a wizard."
"And with that said," Infieri added, "I'm only a simple Fighter"
"I see..." Another pause rose after Soapeh had spoken. "Seems like it's time for a demonstration!" Within a few seconds, Soapeh the assassin disappeared. Flayd and Infieri were stunned.
"Where'd she go?" Flayd asked "It's like she just disappeared into thin air!"
"Oh I'm still here, alright." It had seemed like there was a phantom talking within the limits of the room. A few seconds passed by, and Soapeh was back to her original state. "It's called Dark Sight. Basically turns me invisible for a while. It's highly recommended for the thieves back in Kerning City."
Flayd let out a small laugh. "Kerning City... It's been long since I've visited."
"Why not go back to Victoria Island and visit?"
Flayd jumped up in excitement with the book in his hands. "I have quite a quest to do here first."
Infieri became furious. "Flayd, don't you even think about it!"
"Don't worry, Infi. I'll be fine. I promise."
Tears were about to escape her eyes. "But... what if you don't even come back..." Infieri ran up to Flayd, glomping him. All Flayd did was give out a little chuckle.
"I will come back, and I will come back alive. That I promise to you." Flayd gave a little pat on the back of Infieri's head and glanced at Soapeh, who seemed to remain there speechless.
"You know..." Soapeh began, "If it's really necessary, I will be willing to accompany Flayd in his journey..."
Infieri erupted with sorrow and depression. "It's bad enough to lose one person, and in which that person is my lover!" Tears began to stream down her cheek.
Soapeh sighed. "Flayd, I don't know. Maybe you should call this mission off. I mean, it IS a dangerous journey."
Flayd crunched his fist. "And a dangerous journey is at full of risks, is it not?" He gave a small smile to her. "I'm willing to take risks at the cost of who knows. Although my life will be taken possibly, my love and caring most certainly won't. Besides, I doubt this will be a very long journey."
"I sure hope you know what you're doing..." Soapeh shook her head with Infieri clinging onto Flayd.

Chapter 3: The Center of Ludibrium (Author notes: This will indeed be a HUGE chapter, so be prepared for those who want to read! XD This chapter will include some pictures, along with more action into it. As from here on, there is only a small portion of the chapter done, as I need to go very soon, so I shall continue tomorrow!)
After Flayd's research on the legendary creatures of Ludibrium, known as Tanathos and Gate Keeper, he had been wondering when he would meet these devious guardians. From his research he had studied, they could have possibly existed long ago, and his theory thinks that those creatures are alive on this very day. Not only that, but they are believed to be nearly undefeated, even with a grand party. He had been wondering one thing that had been stuck in his mind... When IS he going to visit them...
At one fine day in the Eos Tower in a hidden room, he had recognized more and more creatures from the book right in front of him. In a room of many blocks and machinary contains many moving block creatures. Giant creatures that perhaps look like giant yellow block apes. These are known as Block Golems, along with many stronger creatures, King Block Golems. With Flayd was his beautiful and gorgeous friend, perhaps even his wife, Infieri, who was anxious to train herself. They decided to work together as a team.
A few Block Golems stood in their path, perhaps about four of them. Flayd and Infieri were both anxious of getting by, nonetheless it was very decent training for both of them. The minute the two destroy the creatures, they're already feeling slightly stronger.
"I suppose we should get this over with, huh?" Flayd said, giving off a smile. He saw Infieri smiling at him as well, nodding her head. Infieri approached quickly at the four creatures as they slowly, but powerfully charged their great powerful fists at her. The grand block hands had missed her by inches, giving her a great change to attack. In Flayd's hand held a Fairy Wand which also can turn into a firey bow. From the palm of his hands summoned many fire arrows being fired from the bow, hitting the creatures rapidly with massive damage. Infieri was gladly willing to finish the Block Golems off with her special technique, in which she took a giant wide spin, hitting all four of them. Only three of the creatures fell to the ground. With one final attack, she spin around and made a great impact from the golem's head, all the way to the ground, even cracking the blocky floor. Infieri was panting a little.
"Don't you overexert yourself now." Flayd laughed and smiled at Infieri again. However, Infieri looked a little upset in the eyes. Flayd did as well as soon as he looked at the beautiful, crystal, and dark reddish eyes. "Is something wrong, Infi?"
She sighed. "You're still thinking of it..."
Flayd tilted his head in confusion. "Huh? I don't really get it..."
"You're still wanting to go down there again... I can see it in your eyes. Ever since you've bought that book, you've had your mind on it nearly all the time!"
"How would you ..." Before Flayd could finish his sentence, there was a small vibrating earthquake that had occurred. Not at the bottom of the Eos Tower, but in the room where the two were in. After a while... something came crashing down onto the ground in which seemed like it came from the 9th floor of the Eos Tower. A giant dark machinary creature. "Look... can we talk about this another time?"
"Best if we do take care of this now." She sighed, glaring that the creature. The creature, known as a Lombard, charged up energy from the center of its body, concentrating the power to its arms. With enough energy, the massive monster crashed its hand onto the ground, sending an earthquake at Flayd's way, full of plasma energy. He quickly evaded to the side, sending fire arrows at it as he crashed on the ground. Infieri sped up toward the Lombard, slashing with all her might against it. Again, the fowl creature charged up its energy, feeling not close to being faint. With a single hit, Infieri went flying up in the air from the inpact of the blow, then crashing down onto the ground.
"Infi!!!" Flayd shouted, rushing to her aid as fast as he possibly could.
"Flayd! Don't worry about me! Watch out!" she said in a medium-volumed voice. Coming at their direction was another earthquake of deadly energy coming their way. With quick thinking, Flayd grabbed Infi tightly, rolling to the side for evasion. The blast missed them once again. "I guess we better finish this fast!" Flayd clasped his hands together, whispering a few words to grow a spiritual tree around him, giving him more energy for his magical attack. Although it wasn't helping Infieri battle, it felt like it a lot.
Infieri was stunned on what Flayd had just done. "Flayd... thank you..." she whispered in a sigh, then regrained enough energy to engage in battle again. Flayd fired more fire arrows at a larger size at the Lombard, each impacting the body fiercefully. Infieri went all out again at slashing. With one final strike, the Lombard went down. The two panted together, nearly collapsed on the ground.
"Well thank goodness that's over with." Flayd said, smiling, but panting as well. A disk had rolled next to him. Perhaps a mechanical part of the Lombard. He looked at it in slight confusion. "Wonder what this is for... It looks like a normal CD Disk."
"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to check it out." Infieri stood up and stretched her body. "Come on, let's go back home... I'm beat." She sighed once again.
"Good idea..." Flayd agreed, then the two went off, teleporting from many floors, eventually reaching the grounds of Ludibrium, also where there house was.
"So... you're not going there, correct?" Infieri said as she was sitting on their own bed, sharpening her machete some more. Flayd was sitting there on their own personal computer and inserted a disk in the hard drive in which he had found from that Lombard.
"Truthfully, I still haven't found out anything more interesting about this stuff..." He responded, his mind nearly concentrated on the information. Infieri sighed "But perhaps... from the looks of this disk... this might contain some more information... information that's probably restricted to be able to be printed in any sort of book." He skimmed through the computer screen more, reading some sort of writing.
The two guardians whom have been there for years Those who enter will be the ones that interferes, In conclusion, they will also be feared,
The two creatures, Tanathos and Gate Keeper shall rule forever Will others rule, that will be never Tanathos, lord of abnormability and ice that is strong Gate Keeper bashes for all things that are wrong
With the two combined, they are unbeatable With their skills combined, they perish all, they are enable For those who interfere, those will perish...
Flayd read the words out loud, nearly in a whisper, still wondering if this is true. "You know," Infieri interupted his reading. "I'm sure that those words ARE true, so my advisory..."
"Well you don't know exactly if they're true." Flayd got up and shut off the computer, ejecting the disk which seemed to have looked nearly hundreds years old. "But I suppose there's no reason in not going. Perhaps..."
"Perhaps what?" Soapeh asked whom seemed to be sitting in a chair near the middle of the room.
"Perhaps... the guardians are nice..." Flayd said cheerfully with a smile.
"Oh yes, definately! They're probably very nice that they'll give us billions of Mesos!" Infieri shouted out sarcastically. "Hello!? They're creatures... no emotion... LEGENDARY creatures! I would doubt that creatures in the past are very nice like that. The deep parts of the factory leads into The Lost Time. In there is filled with creatures with so much sinister and evil spirits, that it even overwhelms their bodies."
"Sinister, eh...?" Flayd smirked at Infieri, then sighed. "Well there's only one way to find out I guess.
"You don't mean..." Soapeh gasped.
"Yep..." Flayd closed his eyes, crossed his arms, then opened his eyes again, looking out the window where the factory was. "I'm going in..." Infieri stared at the ground, all bummed out. She didn't know what to do, or what to say. She was wanting to stop Flayd from doing this ultimately risky task, but all Flayd can do is deny her invitation to just stay at their own home, being close to their lovely selves.
Soapeh stood up "Well then, if you're going, then I'm going in too." She had looked urgent at Flayd, who seemed to be standing there stiff. "If you're wanting to go there now, then might as well get this over with." Soapeh sighed, staring at the ground. Infi's eyes were watering, hoping this wasn't the true event that was currently occurring.
Flayd looked at Soapeh. "I don't really see why you're coming. I mean... even I'm more experience than you. You'll be massacred!"
"It's not only how experienced the person is." Soapeh responded. "But on how useful your allies are." She took out a small green gem and put it in a socket of Flayd's pair of shoes. "Now seeming when I activate my skill, you'll be running and jumping like a kangaroo mixed in with a cheetah!"
"Sounds quite awkward." Flayd chuckled. "I suppose you will be in some use... But please... don't get yourself killed."
"You best not do the same thing, mister!" growled Infieri, who happened to have jumped up from her bed, nearly sobbing in tears. "I can't... afford to lose you... Or Soapeh!" She ran up to Flayd, nearly clinging onto him. Flayd let out a small smile.
"Infieri..." he whispered "No matter what happens to me, or what happens to Soapeh, I promise you that we'll both come back alive." His hand ran through Infieri's grand white hair. "No matter what, I will come back with her. You know I can't lose you." Flayd smiled a little more as he stares at Infieri's teary eyes. She let loose of Flayd as he backed away a little toward Soapeh.
There was a long silence, when finally Soapeh had spoken. "Well then..." she cleared her throat. "Shall we get going now, I guess?"
"I suppose so. This oughta be fascinating." Flayd smiled again, then turned to a slight frown. The librarian's words repeated in his head... "But I swear, you WILL regret this one day!" He shook his head, disbelieving that quote. "Come on, Soapeh. Let's go." He looked at Infieri, then went up to her, wrapping his arms around her. "I promise you... I will come back." He smiled at her, patting her head as she just stood there in tears.
Infieri sat on the bed as the two departed to the grand building, seeming to be the Toy Factory. Soapeh looked up, confused, while Flayd looked at the book. "It says here that there's some area known as The Lost Time. That's where the guardians should be at."
"I guess all I can say is this..." Soapeh took a deep breath. "Here goes nothing..."
There two of them entered into the Toy Factory, warping deeper and deeper into the giant facility. Not only were they going in the center, but they were going deeper underground. In one room, they had come across a dead end.
"You don't suppose that this could be the entrance to the sanctuary or anything, do you?" asked Soapeh. Flayd glanced again at the book.
"I highly doubt it." he responded. "The structure around here is entirely different. I would be surprised if this was the..." Before he could finish his sentence, the door behind the two slammed tightly, leaving them abandoned and trapped in a squared room of great old stone. Cracks were filled on the ground as Flayd had inspected the room.
"Well this doesn't seem good at all..." Soapeh said, slightly frightened. Flayd walked around the surfaces as he felt himself sinking into the ground. He was shocked as the ground beneath both of them collapsed into millions of rock fragments, falling through a great abyss in which seemed relentless. Flayd and Soapeh both screamed at the top of their lungs as they both eventually hit the hard ground below. Flayd grunted and rolled off to the side as he slammed heavily on his stomach onto the ground. Seeming Soapeh was an ordinary Assassin, she landed nearly perfectly onto the ground, her legs feeling stiff.
"Flayd!" Soapeh exclaimed, running to him. "Flayd! Are you okay?" Flayd moaned a little as he slowly got up from the ground, eventually coughing.
"Y... yeah... I'm fine." He spoke weakly. Soapeh took out a White Potion from her socket in her inventory, giving to Flayd to drink. In a matter of a few seconds, he was nearly back to normal. Still coughing a little, he smiled at Soapeh. "Seems like this will be a long journey, won't it?" Flayd asked. Soapeh nodded her head.
Nearby, they notice some people looking directly at them in a strange looking way. They had been wondering why Soapeh and Flayd were here. Flayd got up from the ground.
"Ummm... we don't mean to do any harm here, I swear!" Flayd said slightly nervously, but the people just kept looking at him like he had committed some strange crime. Around him seemed like an environment that hadn't existed anywhere in the world. Flayd's eyes went wide as he stared at the transparent figures levatating in midair. "Could this be..." He was speechless.
"Flayd?" Soapeh was confused. "Flayd! Are you okay?" Flayd shook his head heavily and looked at her.
"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just that... this might be it..." He glanced at the book pages once again, then looked around him. "This might be... very close to the sanctuary."
"The sanctuary protected by the guardians?"
"The only guardians here..." His eyes widened. "We're in the lost time..." Flayd looked around him, transparent clocks floating, blocks made of the looks of toy blocks as the floors. Nearby in the corner laid a teleporting device. Flayd slowly approached the circular hologram figure, staring at it. "Perhaps this would lead to the great guardians?"
"Might as well find out one way or another, yes?" Soapeh stood next to Flayd, slightly discouraged on what awaited them to Gate Keeper and Tanathos.
To be continued...

Chapter 4: The Center of Ludibrium (Part 2) (Author notes: I'm alive...? I'm alive!!! Erhm.... Yeah, sorry I haven't been writing at all >_< Just too lazy and whatnot ._." But I'm just somewhat inspired to write now! I still have pages of paper to type onto here, so let's get going on that now!!! As for my Maple Story life, Flayd's level 60, almost 61, made an Islander Beginner with Infieri, and I have a Cleric with my friends at Scania! Just a sum there =P )
Flayd chuckled a little. "Seems like this adventure just gets better and better." He smiled weakly, sighing heavily, going into the portal with Soapeh. They traveled through a vision, perhaps a dimention, seeming like a stream of many figures passing by, feeling the movement of levatation through a warp of speed. A few seconds passed by until the two slammed heavily onto the ground, feeling an incredible impact. Flayd was back into his grunting state.
"Flayd, you okay!?" Soapeh exclaimed, running to his aid. Flayd slowly rised from the ground.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry." He replied with another weak smile. "I suppose it's not easy being a magician exactly."
"If you think you can't do it, it's best we go back now."
"You haven't much to worry, Soapeh." He casted a spell in which summoned his mana fairy. "I'm sure this could take all the hits for me."
"How can it?" Soapeh asked with a very confused expression on her face. "It's not like the fairy is you or anything."
"It isn't me." Flayd smiled. "However, it is a part of me. The fairy itself connects to my spiritual energy, and seeming me, I have plenty of it." He pet the fairy gently with his index finger, then looked at Soapeh. "I suppose it's just a tiny trick up my magical sleeve!" The two of them laughed together until a strange figure appeared in front of them.
It had the looks of a small jester, only black and phanton-like. With the green jester uniform looks, it seemed to researchers and Flayd that it was a type of magic user. From what Flayd had researched in his book he got in the library, the crature was known as "Buffy". Its glowing white eyes were shining at Flayd from its dark, misty, and ghostly body. Behind the Buffy stood Soapeh as energy was unleashed heavily onto her. The wave of the extraordinary powerful energy was evaded by nearly an inch when Soapeh rolled to the side. Flayd rushed over to her as more Buffy were spotting them, rushing to the scene as well.
"Soapeh!" shouted Flayd "Are you alright?" Before they both knew it, they had been surrounded by the pink and green jester-like creatures. They were in a formation of a circle that seemed to be clising together by the second. "This doesn't look good at all..." Flayd was in a near panicking state, standing back to back with Soapeh. He used his Arc Staff as a fire bow, releasing a powerful fire arrow onti it. Soapeh joined in the battle, using throwing stars as a powerful weapon as it impacted the creatures. Avoiding one of the attacks, the throwing stars struck powerfully onto a Buffy, knocking it on its back. The other enemies were becoming furious as more Buffies were approaching the battle field.
"This might be good if we just retreated this area right now!" Soapeh suggested, ready to turn back. "These enemies are more powerful than I thought! I don't think we can handle them!"
"Never!" Flayd shouted at Soapeh. "We've come this far, and we're not giong back and chickening out now." He dashed past the Buffies, leading onto another area. A swarm of Buffies chased Flayd in a huge mob.
"Very stobborn of you, you idiot!" Soapeh shouted to him as she was running beside him. Flayd looked back at the enemies chasing him, releasing a few fire arrows at them. With a counter attack, the Buffies swarmed magical attacks, focused directly onto Flayd. He brace himself for impact, one of the energy rays knocking him back. Luckily, he hadn't fallen down thanks to his fairy. Flayd realized a small pit on the ground.
"Come with me!" he shouted, running to the pit, dragging Soapeh by her arm. They both fell in, and immediately, Flayd realized something else. A passage down that seemed to have been heading to the center.
"I have a bad feeling about this..." Soapeh had been concerned inside her, feeling the enemies getting tougher as they walked deeper into the center. She let out a soft sigh.
"Better safe than dead for now." Flayd smiled at her.
"How would you know that this place is safe anyway? It's not like you've been here before." She glared at Flayd, seeming like she was giving a sarcastic facial expression saying 'Oh boy... he's a genius...'. Flayd sighed, frowning a little.
"Whatever... might as well relax a little bit." He took out another white potion, nearly replenighing his energy immediately, just like when he had met his last major injury he had faced when he fell through the ground, onto The Lost Time, feeling a fall that just seemed relentless to him.
After the two replenished their energy, Flayd and Soapeh moved onward through the dark tunnel, seeing a gleam of light at the end of the passage. Up ahead, Flayd had seen an opening, in which they both had seen different creatures in the new grounds.
This looked like a fat qhite phantom wearing striped red and orange puffy pants. As the same as the Buffies, it also wore a jester hat that matched its outfit. With the looks of the area, and by the looks of the fat creatures carrying large clocks, this enemy was known as "Buffoon". Without warning, the creature rose in furious rage, and raised the clock over its head, slamming it bottom first onto the ground. The impact caused a gigantic fire shockwave to strike both, Flayd and Soapeh heavily. The two of them grunted as they were sent flying, sliding across the ground. The wild and furocious creature approached them both as their bodies started to fill up with enormous amount of fright. Out of the distance, a glowing white arrow had struck the body of the Buffoon heavily. It collapsed fiercefully onto the ground as Flayd and Soapeh had seen the clock explode into thousands of fragments and pieces. The Buffoon laid dead as it vanished into thin air, leaving its clothing behind.
"What... what was that...?" Soapeh asked in confusion. She looked around, but she hadn't seen anyone in sight, neither did Flayd.
"Who knows..." he replied "But I believe someone is following us."
"Perhaps a stalker?" The two of them laughed together as they continued forward on their journey. They discovered another pit in which connected to an even more tougher area.
This area consisted of many floating ships, as if an evil froce were to make it levatate. A head by the looks of a viking was on the front of the ship, sails waving angrily around as it moved around the area. Pirate ships had cannons on the frong, while Viking ships had larger cannons sticking out on the sides. All of them were marching and floating in a patrol movement.
Flayd and Soapeh hid behind some of the walls around hiding themselves from the gigantic and angry enemies. They had a slight amount of fear within them, but Flayd had a feeling that they would make it out alive. Flayd would be trying his best to keep his promise to his beloved Infieri.
"We will make it out of here, I can guarentee it to you for sure." said Flayd cinfidentially. "Seems like by the power and energy of these creatures, we're closing in the sanctuary.
"How will we make it past them, though?" Soapeh asked. "It's not like those ghostly ships will offer us to go through."
Flayd thought for a while, tapping his foot to enhance his thinking. He felt that the floor he was standing on was weak. "Perhaps I have an idea." Flayd backed away from the ground. "Move over a little. This ground is very weak." With a small release of a fire arrow, the ground was made into a small hole. "We can sneak in this way." They both went into the hole, where they followed yet another passage. This time, a light shades of blue and teal was sihning at the other end. Flayd popped his head up, looking for any enemies nearby. The area was clear. But he had been shocked.
"Flayd, let's move!" Soapeh shouted, pushing Flayd up the hole. They both got up on ground again, where they had seen a giant monument. Flayd smiled with great astonishment.
"Soapeh... we're here..." Flayd looked at her, whom had been confused yet again.
"So this is it..." She whispered.
"Yes. This is the center of Ludibrium." He couldn't help but swing his arms in the air with a huge grin on his face. He hadn't been more excited. "I can't believe we're here!"
"Flayd, don't shout!" Soapeh warned with a whisper. "If you don't..."
"Oh, goodness, I have to study all over here!" He ignored Soapeh, continuing to shout off the top of his lungs. "Come on, let's stay here! We can camp!"
"I would consider not..." roared a deep voice. Flayd's smile vanished within an instant, looking around him in fright. "Who DARES to disrupt my sleep!?" Flayd hadn't been excited anymore, considering he was now in the greatest fright of all. A giant figure came by, seeming like it was holding a photonic axe with its giant blue body, but tiny white eyes.
"N... No way..." Flayd was more shocked than ever.
"It's... I cannot believe this..." Soapeh was just as stunned as Flayd.
"It's... the Gate Keeper... But... I thought you were just a legend!"
"It would seem I'm not, am I?" the Gate Keeper roared again in an angry temper. "So what would have I looked like to you!? An inanimate object!?"
"Flayd... let's go." Soapeh was shaking, wanting to burst into tears. Flayd stood still, staring at the Gate Keeper. "Flayd! Let's go now!" He still ignored her, still staring blankly into the mysterious and devious creature. "I wouldn't believe that he's giving out autographs just to visit him, you know!"
"I'm not leaving." Flayd spoke, looking back at Soapeh.
"W... what!? Why!?" The assassin went berzerk, breaking into tears. "What do you need here!?"
"Soapeh, I have my reasons." Flayd directed his eyes onto the Gate Keeper again. "Legendary Gate Keeper, I ask of your permission to please let me stay here a bit to do some studying of this ancient and mysterious place."
The Gate Keeper was concerning, but angry. "...Mysterious...? Just what's so... 'mysterious' about this? This is an unauthorized and restricted area! This... this is MY sanctuary!!!" The Gate Keeper's roar shook the entire place, perhaps even the whole area of Ludibrium.
"Sir Gate Keeper, what's the..." Another figure came by, pausing its quote. It had long shady arms, wearing heavy armor in which could be greater than the average warrior's armor. On the strap up top was just a simple one eye. "Why are there intruders here...?"
"I do not know why, but they shouldn't be here at all..." spoke the Gate Keeper. "Tanathos... perish them!"
"A pleasure, sir..." Flayd and Soapeh stood still, shocked. Their eyes looked like they were going to shrink into small spheres, feeling tears flowing down like a small waterfall.
"Let's get out of here!" Flayd shouted, running for his life. The Gate Keeper swung his mighty axe, vibrating the ground heavily. Flayd and Soapeh tripped onto the ground.
"Urgh... Flayd... I can't move!" Soapeh's legs were completely stunned. The shockwave the Gate Keeper had made completely paralyzed both their legs, not even feeling the slightest pulse, flow of blood, or twitch for that matter.
"Finish them!" hissed Tanathos. He rose his skinny dark arms, slamming them onto the ground. Streams of icicles spread around the area at an incredible rate, barely hitting Flayd and Soapeh.
"Stay back!!! Get away from these two!" cried a feminine voice within a distance. Everyone looked around.
"Another trespasser!?" shouted Gate Keeper. "Who dares to enter this sanctuary!?" A girl came down. She wore white overall clothing, and held a staff with a skull on the end.
"I do." replied the girl. "You harm these boys, you feel the pain ten times greater you deal!" Anger rose within her face, flowing throughout her body even.
The Gate Keeper glared angrily at the priest-looking character. "No one..." The Gate Keeper breathed heavily. "And I mean NO ONE enters this sanctuary!" He rose his axe again. "Prepare to die!!!" With one mighty swing... CRASH! The staff deflected the mighty blow of his photonic axe. "What... what the...! Impossible!"
The girl smirked at the creature. Flayd and Soapeh were stunned. "Impossible? If it's so impossible, how did I manage to do it?" spoke the girl. She looked at the two people who were still on the ground as stiff as ever. "I'm sending you two back to Ludibrium."
Tanathos stepped forward. "Oh no you don't!" he spoke, raging with devious power as his dark aura surrounded him. "They're staying here! They'll be perfect for our dinner!"
"Will they now? Not if I send them back!" The girl threw shining card-looking figures, one at both of them. Within a flash, they were gone.
The Gate Keeper looked twitchy. "How dare you let them escape!" Another axe blow was being struck at the girl, but she dodged it with ease.
"You shouldn't mess with my type." She closed her eyes, a white aura surrounding her. With an open of her eyes, a goddess-like creature appeared behind her, blasting the two with a celestial light. The both of them were knocked back a few inches on the ground. "Had enough?" she said as she smirked at them again.
"We're just getting started!" The Gate Keeper dashed at a high speed toward the girl. Who knew how long the battle would last.
Meanwhile in Ludibrium...
Everything is as peaceful as ever. Infieri hung up some clothing outside the house until she saw a gleam of light within a distance.
"Hmmm...?" she wondered. She looked deeply afar, only to see that the light was growing larger. "What is that...?" The light grew larger and larger, but she realized something. It was coming closer. "Is this some attack or something!?"
The holy-like spheres were coming faster and faster, eventually coming up in front of Infieri's face before she could even escape. She was stunned, nearly wanting to burst into tears due to the fright inside her. The two spheres went to Infieri's side, dimming slowly. She could see a figure inside each of the spheres. Not only a figure, but bodies. The light dimmed more. She realized who they were. Infieri gasped heavily. "... Flayd...? Soapeh!?"
There was no more of the holy aura around them, and their only options were to let the gravity bring them crashing onto the second floor porch. "My goodness! What happened!?"
"I'll explain it." spoke a feminine voice. It was that same girl who was at the sanctuary.
"Arumi! You know what happened!?" Infieri's eyes went wide as she clinged onto Arumi's arm.
"I was there at the sanctuary. Infact, I'm the one who saved their butts!" she laughed lightly. "Then again, I don't even know why they were there... It's strange."
"Well we should let these two rest up." Infieri went up to Flayd, placing her hand on his chest. "I would hope that they're not..." Her eyes watered that instantly leaked from her eyes. She whimpered as her tears dropped right on Flayd's clothing.
"They'll be alright, Infieri." Arumi said, walking up to Flayd's other side. She gave Infieri a sweet-looking smile. "You didn't forget what I am, do you? I can fix these fellas in a few!"
"You're right..." She sniffed her nose, wiping her tears away. Arumi took her staff, gathering green blobs of energy, forcing them to penetrate through Flayd's body. A few seconds passed by, and all Infieri heard was a cough. A cough from Flayd, seeing he was alive. "Oh thank heavens!" More tears came out of her, but this time, it was just tears of joy. "But... Soapeh..."
"We can fix her up too." Arumi smiled again, repeating the same method on Soapeh. She regained consciousness as well.
Flayd looked directly at Infieri. "Infieri..." He sighed.
She picked up his head off the ground. "What is it dear...?"
"I'm sorry..."

Chapter 42:
Flayd swipes up Soapeh off the floor, and says "I love you! I don't know what I could ever do if you had died down there." He shouted, while tearing a bit.
"I love you too, Flayd!" shouted Soapeh. "The only reason I was ever around Infieri was to be with you!"
Flayd quickly pushed Infieri out of the room and locked the door with a spell the rest of them had never seen before. Infieri tried to break through, but with each swing, her weapon bounced off as if it was rubber.
Flayd, seemingly floating towards Soapeh, kissed her on the cheek and proceeded to pull up the Red Heart Shirt over her head, then licked her across her chest from the bottom to top then back down to bottom.
He then looked into her eyes, and she did the same to him, giving him some sort of eye signal to keep going. So Flayd slowly pulled down her Red Skirt to the floor, then putting his hand to the front of her frilly pink underwear, moving his finger up and down, carressing what lies within them.
The ending is too graphic for the eyes of which look upon this message board. D:

It kind of was XD But hey, he/she could be lying too! I've added more chapters to my planning collection along with the Epilogue! Yes. The Epilogue. Well... some story has to end, doesn't it? lol. Sorry for meh fans, but hey, I still have a long way to go before I actually complete this! It is true that I haven't been working on this. But I do have a goal in episode release matters. I haven't been releasing episodes, maybe because I'm too busy or entertained by other video games, but most of the time is just from pure laziness I guess =P So I hope to release an episode every day or every other day. I hope to not disappoint you all Oh, and of course you all can ask any questions regarding this fanfic =P ... Not... Soapy's. >_>;; *twitch*
